Miss Marissa Evans

I am proud to serve as the first grade team leader at Shepard Elementary. As a Plano native and graduate of Plano ISD schools, it is a privilege to give back to the community that played such an important role in my own education. After earning my Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of North Texas, I began my teaching career in 2017 at Hunt Elementary, where I taught second grade.

As a first grade teacher and team leader, I am committed to fostering a learning environment where young students feel valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential—both academically and personally.

At Shepard, we believe in building strong partnerships with families and nurturing a lifelong love of learning. I look forward to a joyful and successful school year ahead as we work together to help every student grow and thrive.
