I am incredibly honored to serve as the principal of Shepard Elementary. As a proud Plano ISD graduate, I attended Plano schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade before earning my degree from The University of Texas at Austin. After graduation, I returned home to begin my career teaching first grade in the district that gave me so much. Following 18 wonderful years in the classroom, I became a campus administrator, and in 2024, I had the privilege of joining the Shepard family as principal.

Serving the community that helped shape who I am is truly a dream come true. I am passionate about carrying out Plano ISD's vision of excellence, caring, and learning while ensuring every student feels known, valued, and challenged to reach their full potential. I believe strong relationships are the foundation of a great school, and I strive to create a place where students love learning, families feel connected, and staff members are supported as they do the important work of educating children.

My husband and I have three children, including twin daughters and a son, who all grew up attending Plano ISD schools. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, visiting the beach in Florida, playing games, and laughing at whatever our pets are up to that day.

It is a true privilege to serve the students, families, and staff of Shepard Elementary. Together, we are committed to lifting every child to new heights.
